This is my first post.
After living in Japan for more than ten years, I have experienced many different things, worked in a variety of places and fields across several cities, mainly in the Kansai region, and spent around ten years studying art in this country.
After completing my PhD, I came to an interesting realization: I am perhaps more a person of feelings than one of thoughts and opinions. I have a strong ability to adapt to different circumstances, and maybe that is one of the reasons I have been able to overcome challenges that, at times, I thought were beyond me.
My background in software engineering has gradually intertwined with my more recent artistic path, giving me the opportunity to see things from a different perspective. Logic and creativity, technology and tradition, structure and intuition may seem like very different worlds, but for me they have increasingly become part of the same journey.
I do not write with the expectation that people will necessarily understand me, nor am I looking for approval or indulgence. These writings will be informal reflections, including feelings, observations, experiences, and ideas that I simply want to express and share.
Although art will naturally be an important part of this blog, I do not intend to limit myself to it. From time to time, I may write about society, artificial intelligence, daily life, technology, culture, or simply whatever subject happens to catch my attention or make me think. Some posts may be more personal, others more reflective, and some may simply begin with a small curiosity or an idea that comes to me unexpectedly.
I welcome anyone who is curious about the world of art, Nihonga, sketching, drawing, and traditional forms of creativity, as well as those interested in logical thinking, technology, and contemporary ways of creating and crafting.
This blog will probably live somewhere between all of these worlds—and perhaps that is exactly where I feel most at home.
